Tram Zürich West construction

16th May 2011. The new archway carrying a foot and cycle path across Pfingstweidstrasse will at the same time symbolise an 'entrance gate' to Z&uum;rich. The path it carries is being created along a disused railway siding, the track of which is visible close to the new tram tracks in this view. Apparently, this section of railway track will be retained as a visible reminder.
